The FriWalk mobility walker steps into the future with its selection of sensors designed to keep seniors active and connected.
The walker is equipped with an array of cameras and sensors, as well as shoe inserts able to monitor pressure. By consistently measuring the gait of the user in a natural setting (rather than a clinic’s treadmill), the system is able to accurately estimate the health of the individual. Cameras on the front of the walker will detect and warn of obstacles ahead, and users can enter fitness goals and interests to receive alerts about events that might get them out of the house.
