The Gita cargo carrying invention follows its owner around like an autonomous wagon.
The Gita balances nimbly on its pair of wheels to trail its owner while carrying up to 40 pounds of cargo at speeds as fast as 22 miles per hour. Navigation is accomplished via a camera-embedded belt worn by the user, and a software system called SLAM that generates a 3D map of the wearer’s environment. With that information along with its own camera, the Gita is able to map its route behind the user, even if they are momentarily out of sight (such as around a corner).
The Gita can also retrace a path automatically, and be programmed to stop at specific locations along the way.
