Google's Self-Driving Cars Learn to Honk

Jun-05-16 Googe engineers have added a horn to their self-driving car, which will warn vehicles of impending collisions.

According to the developers, the goal of the project is to give the car a voice, and allow it to sound its horn in the same manner as an experienced and considerate driver. The software is able to recognize a situation that could benefit from a horn honk—such as a swerving driver—and can detect false positives.
