Groundfridge Cools Foods without Electricity

Groundfridge Cools Foods without Electricity
Apr-16-16
Taking a cue from the past, the Groundfridge offers a prefab root cellar that keeps foods cool without electricity.

Created by Dutch designer Floris Schoonderbeek, the six-and-a-half foot wide Groundfridge is made of thin fiberglass and comes ready to be buried. The spherical-shaped structure also includes a door, stairs and shelving, and will keep foods at a steady 50-54°F all year.
