Inirv React Smart Knobs Turn off Stoves for Safety

Inirv React Smart Knobs Turn off Stoves for Safety
Jan-30-17
Prevent accidental kitchen fires with the Inirv React invention, a set of smart knobs that will turn off the stove if you leave it on.

The Inirv React system consists of a set of knobs that fit onto the existing stove and communicate via Bluetooth with a sensor mounted on the ceiling. The ceiling sensor will detect both smoke and flammable gas, as well as motion in the room. If smoke or gas are detected, the system will sound an audible and app alarm. Then, if there is no response and no motion in the room for fifteen minutes, the Inirv will turn off the stovetop.

The smartphone app also allows users to turn off the stove or change the temperature remotely, from their phone.

Could electric stoves and other equipment with touchscreens be changed ‘analog’ with this knob? They are nearby impossible to visually impaired and difficult to old people. They would also get the biggest benefit from this product.
