Marine Armor System Keeps Pirates from Getting Inside

Marine Armor System Keeps Pirates from Getting Inside
Oct-30-14
Designed for ships that travel in areas frequented by pirates, the Marine Armor System will secure the interior of the vessel if the intruders happen to make it on board.

The Marine Armor System consists of a system of blinds that will automatically close if the vessel has been boarded in order to prevent access to the interior. The blinds are made of the proprietary alloy Kriptonia (said to be stronger than steel) and can be specified for different levels of protection—from blocking a handgun's bullet to withstanding attacks by rocket-propelled grenades. The blinds are stored in a receptacle above the opening to be blocked until needed, and can be deployed at the press of a single button within 10 seconds.
