Nanomedic SpinCare Heals Wounds with a Second Skin

Jul-13-19 The SpinCare device from Nanomedic covers wounds with a nanofiber ‘skin’ that protects the area and never needs changing.

The Nanomedic device eliminates the need to change dressings and bandages, instead protecting the wound with a proprietary ‘second skin’ made of an electrospun polymer material. The material needs to be applied only once, fully encasing the wound with a transparent layer and significantly reducing the chance of infections. As the wound heals, new skin will form under the dressing, which will fall off automatically when the healing is complete.
