Nike Patents Shoe Assist Treadmill

Nike Patents Shoe Assist Treadmill
May-07-18
Nike has filed a patent for a tiny, embedded treadmill that makes their shoes easier to slip on.

The patent refers to a “rotatable conveyor element” that would be located in the sole of shoe. The conveyor would rotate to help pull the foot into or out of the shoe, with no wriggling or stretching required. The patent also includes details for a control mechanism that could be triggered manually, or automatically when the foot is placed in the shoe.

How far is a treadmill & shoes combination that allows free speed control, turns and stops? The first residents on Mars will live practically in a prison. They might welcome a functional VR-simulator.
