Notch Modular Movement Tracking System

Jul-10-16 The Notch system lets athletes of various types track their movements to receive real time performance information.

The system consists of an array of sensor modules, including gyroscopes and accelerometers, that can be attached to clothing on different parts of the body, forming a wireless network. The collected motion data is analyzed via the company’s algorithm to create a 3D reconstruction of the wearer’s form and technique, which can be viewed on a smartphone running the companion app. The Notch also features a haptic feedback option that will alert the wearer to an incorrect move.
