Nov-11-17 The microMend wound closure from KitoTech Medical offers a simpler and less painful alternative to sutures.

The microMend consists of an adhesive backing with a pair of “microstaple” arrays on both ends. The microstaples sink painlessly into the skin on either side of the wound, holding it closed while still allowing the patient freedom of motion. According to the team, the microMend secures the wound as well as sutures, and can be removed at home by the patient.
