Paragon Affordable Induction Cooking System

Paragon Affordable Induction Cooking System
Feb-08-15
Designed by GE-subsidiary FirstBuild, the Paragon induction cooktop system monitors and adjusts temperature automatically to ensure a perfectly cooked meal.

Already exceeding its funding goal on Indiegogo, the Paragon system is made up of a 12-inch diameter cooktop, wireless temperature sensor and optional iOS app. The sensor attaches to the cooking pot magnetically, where it monitors the cooking temperature and sends the information via Bluetooth to the cooktop, ensuring a constant proper temperature. The Paragon can be used to cook in a variety of ways, including searing, poaching or braising, but its ability to simplify sous vide cooking could have the most appeal to aspiring chefs.
