Peeple Is A Remote Access Peephole

Jun-07-15 The Peeple turns your front door peephole into an app-enabled camera, letting you check who’s at the door from the comfort of your phone.

Touted as a “caller ID for your front door,” the Peeple camera fits inside a standard peephole—which many people have already installed on their door—and can also be quickly removed if you want to use the peephole manually. Once installed, an accelerometer in the device will detect the vibrations of a knock on the door, which triggers the system to access the house WiFi and transmit a live video of the visitor to a paired device.

The Peeple has already far exceeded its funding on Kickstarter.
