Pizza ATM Dispenses Pizzas On Demand

Aug-11-16 The first of its kind to be installed in the U.S., the Pizza ATM from the French Company Paline dispenses pizza slices on demand, 24 hours a day.

The Pizza ATM will be installed at Xavier University, where students can select their toppings via a touchscreen. The device itself will be loaded with prepared pizzas which are transferred to the unit’s oven when the selection is made. The oven will bake the pizza in about three minutes, and then deliver it—boxed and ready to go—to the customer.

The cooking, storage and inventory are managed by an onboard computer, and alerts will be sent to the Pizza ATM owner’s phone in the case of malfunction or low stock.
