Qmote Smartphone Remote Control

Qmote Smartphone Remote Control
Feb-11-15
The water-resistant Qmote remote control for smartphones lets users control different features on their phones (or smart homes) even when the phone is out of reach.

Marketed by Qblinks, the Bluetooth-equipped, single-button Qmote can be programmed to respond to different click patterns in order to perform up to eleven separate commands (one click to activate the phone's navigation, two for the camera's shutter, a long and a short click to pause a playlist, etc.). When switched to Presenter Mode, the device will link to a Windows or Mac computer to function as a slide advancer. The Qmote is also IFTTT compatible, which enables the user to create connections between various devices in a smart home, such as the Nest thermostat and Philips Hue light bulbs.

The Qmote has already far exceeded its funding goal on Kickstarter.
