ShotTracker Analyzes Basketball Shots

ShotTracker Analyzes Basketball Shots
Nov-25-14
The ShotTracker helps basketball players improve their game by monitoring their shots and offering advice for improvement.

Designed primarily for amateur players (and with a price point to match), the ShotTracker is made up of two different sensors: a sensor attached the net and a sensor on the player's wrist worn under a specially-created wristband. The net sensor—which remains in sleep mode until triggered by the player—is notified by the wrist sensor each time a ball is headed its way. The net sensor monitors the shots made and shots missed, and the collected data from the sensors is sent to a smartphone app for analysis and training advice.
