SkySaver High-Rise Personal Rescue Device

Dec-17-15 Developed with high-rise building emergencies in mind, the SkySaver personal rescue device allows the wearer to make their escape via a window, if no safer route is available.

The SkySaver consists of a backpack with an integrated cable and a Controlled Descent Device. In the event of an emergency, the individual can simply don the backpack, attach the cable to the previously installed anchor point, and lower themselves out the window. The controlled descent device will automatically lower the person at about six feet per second, and the system is rated for 66 through 300 pounds.
