Swarovki Shine Activity Trackers Powered by the Sun

Jan-06-15 Smart wearables maker Misfit has joined with Swarvoski to create fashionable activity trackers that can be powered by the sun.

The key component of the Swarovski Shine Collection line is a large crystal that conceals the device's sensors for tracking steps or sleep patterns (the latter when paired with a smartphone). The crystals are available in two colors—clear or violet—with the violet version able to charge itself via sun, LED or halogen light. A tap on the Shine crystal will trigger it to display activity status as well as the time of day, and the crystals can be used with different accessories, including pendants and bracelets,
