Volocopter Makes Personal Flight Easy

Designed to be particularly easy to fly, the Volocopter is equipped with 18 rotors powered by electric motors. Currently, the copter has been through more than 100 test flights, which the developers say have proven the copter’s ability to fly practically autonomously. The Volocopter can support up to 992 pounds and has a top speed of 62 mph, and the team hopes to enter the commercial market soon, offering air taxis and other transit flight options.
