Voltera V-One Prints Circuit Boards in Minutes

Voltera V-One Prints Circuit Boards in Minutes
Feb-12-15
The Voltera V-One circuit printer uses a conductive ink printing system to simplify the process of rapid hardware prototyping.

Unlike other conductive ink printers that only print single layers, the V-One is able to print two-layer, electrically separated circuits onto an industry-standard substrate (FR4)—and is the first of its kind to do so. The V-One's swappable print heads enable it to also function as a solder paste dispenser, saving the developer time and money by allowing them to add the components to the board at home.

According to the team, the V-One can print a standard circuit layout in about 20 minutes.
