Zoom Takes the Physically Disabled Onto the Open Road

Zoom Takes the Physically Disabled Onto the Open Road
Feb-15-15
Soon to be available to the general public, the electric Zoom lets the physically disabled get off the beaten path and into the wild.

Touted as one of the smallest and lightest electric all-terrain vehicles on the market, the Zoom features a steel frame designed to keep all four wheels in constant contact with the ground. The wheels themselves are equipped with all-terrain tires and hydraulic disc brakes and are powered by individual 1000 watt hub motors. The Zoom can travel up to 35 miles on a single charge with a top speed of 12 mph.

Although the Zoom has been available in select European countries as well as to wounded U.S. Army veterans, the Zoomability company is now launching distribution in the US to make the device available to more people.
