The ski boot conforms to German institute for standardization (DIN) International organization for standardization (ISO) 5355or German institute for standardization (DIN) International organization for standardization (ISO) 9523, Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a method for releasing a ski boot; and (2) a method for manufacturing or modifying a ski boot.
