Amphibious Vehicle having a Single Drive System for Land and Water Operations

An amphibious vehicle, mostly watercraft in appearance, having a single drive system that accelerates, propels, steers, reverses, and brakes the vehicle on land or in the water.

Control is effectuated by levers through twin rear mounted propulsion units which operate independently and are rotatable in either direction. Circumstances desirable for amphibious vehicles include recreation, flood rescue, thin ice rescue, hunting, fishing, and traveling through areas having both water and solid surfaces. Original intent was for a rescue vehicle. Prototype will be included.
