Antibody to Human DNA Methyltransferase 1
We successfully prepared a polyclonal rabbit antibody to a peptide derived from the N-terminus of human DNMT1 (the sub-contractor was provided with the peptide sequence, synthesized the peptide, injected rabbits, and collected the immune sera; we characterized the antibodies and showed the usefulness in detecting human DNMT1 by immunoblot and by immunohistochemistry, see De Marzo, A.M. et al. Cancer Res. 59: 3855-60, 1999). As of yet, no other commercially prepared anto-DNMT1 antibodies are as good as this antibody (none have been prepared using the peptide sequence we used). Description (Set) Proposed Use (Set) New polyclonal antibodies against DNMT1.
