Hand-held tattooing device for bringing e.g. medical active ingredient into e.g. human skin, has drives that are coupled to cutting blade for shifting blade in multiple cutting positions along cutting

The device (1) has a cutting blade (3) that is shiftable between multiple basic positions that are assigned to respective cutting depth. A liquid supplying device supplies liquid to be brought for entry in a cutting channel produced by the cutting blade. Two drives (4, 5) are coupled to the cutting blade for shifting the cutting blade in multiple cutting positions along a cutting path into the basic positions in a horizontal direction and a vertical direction. The cutting blade is formed at a rotatable blade component. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a hand-held tattooing device for bringing a liquid into a human or animal skin.
