B7-H-Ig Fusion Protein

Introduction T cell activation and differentiation require not only T cell receptor recognition of the antigen–MHC complex but also costimulation through the interaction of accessory molecules on APC and their corresponding receptors on T lymphocytes. CD28 is the most important costimulatory receptor on T cells. It binds to B7.1 (CD80) and B7.2 (CD86) on activated APC, that are highly regulated after innate activation. Technology description B7-H-Ig fusion protein was generated in Dr Chen Dong’s lab and can be potentially used to generated monoclonal antibodies. Related Publication(s)
