1) Invention entitled: “Inhibition of Ischemia-induced Arrhythmias by Blocking Mitochondrial Inner Membrane Ion Channels” Johns Hopkins University (JHU Ref.: 4696). This invention demonstrates that mitochondrial ion channels are key targets of therapeutic intervention to block arrhythmias.

2) Invention entitled: “An Integrated Procedure to Translate Metabolomics Data into Metabolic Fluxes” Johns Hopkins University (JHU Ref.: 12660). This invention leads to an improved design of new pharmacological and genetic therapies as applied to cancer and diabetes among other diseases.
