Tissue Culture Method Using Magnetically Generated Mechanical Stress

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a culturing method of forming connective tissues such as bone, cartilage, ligament and tendon as tissues functioning like mechanical response, and to provide a culturing device. ; SOLUTION: A method for mechanically stimulating tissue forming cells so as to be applied to tissue engineering and regeneration by exposing cells in mechanical stress generated by a magnetic body generating force in response to applied magnetic field and transmitting the force to the cells, is provided, wherein the mechanical stress to be added is produced by linear translation motion of the magnetic body in the added magnetic field.
