Method and Kit for Predicting the Chances of Survival of Patents with Mantle Cell Lymphoma

Mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) is a distinct subtype of B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL-B). The invention provides a method and a kit for predicting the chance of survival of a patient suffering from MCL, based on measuring the level of expression of at least four genes selected from the group comprising: MYC, RAN, POLE2, SLC29A2 and TNFRSF10B in a sample taken from the patient. The method and kit are simple as they involve a minimum number of genes, are quantitative, can be used in routine diagnosis on a wide variety of samples, and offer a greater capacity for predicting the chances of survival of patients with MCL than current methods.
