USE OF eNOS INHIBITORS IN NERVOUS REGENERATION

The invention relates to the use of inhibitors of the activity and/or expression of the endothelial isoform of the NO synthase enzyme (eNOS) in the preparation of a medicament for increasing the regeneration speed of damaged peripheral nerves in a patient requiring such treatment. The invention also relates to the use of vectors guiding the expression of the eNOS inhibitors in the production of said medicaments, enabling the acceleration of the recovery of neuromuscular communication following an injury by means of a single application via intraneural injection.
