High Resolution Three-dimensional (3D) Iterative Pinhole Image Reconstruction Methods

The invention is a three-dimensional (3D) iterative pinhole image reconstruction method and its software implementation for use in high-resolution pinhole SPECT imaging. The method and software is particularly useful in high-resolution microSPECT imaging of small animals including mice and rats. In addition, the invention allows further improvement and enhancement of hte image reconstruction method.
