Serum Response Factor (SRF) Conditional Knockout Mice

Scientists at JHU have created conditional serum response factor (srf) knockout mice to investigate the plasticity of adult neurons. The mice were generated to circumvent the embryonic lethality associated with Srf null mice and allow for the ablation of Srf in a spatially- and temporally-restricted manner.
