Parallel Integrated Frame Synchronizer (PIFs) Chip ()

Abstract:
NASA Goddard Space Flight Center has developed a high-speed parallel integrated frame synchronizer chip that can be used in ground station systems that receive and process data from airborne or in-space sources. This chip has a processing speed of 500 Mbps - five times faster than processing speeds offered by current chips.
