Navigational System for Persons with Varying Physical Disabilities

This technology is a Web-based navigational tool to assist people of varying physical ability levels in identifying shortest feasible routes through urban environments. There are several limiting factors in determining the correct and feasible path of travel for people with disabilities (PWDs), but an individual�s physical ability level is the essential consideration in determining a feasible route. The present invention incorporates different resources, devices, and programs to effectively guide persons with varying ability levels through urban environments.

The technology can be used in urban environments such as universities, malls and municipalities, and for intra building maneuverability.

A utility patent has been filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Organization. This technology is available for developmental research support/licensing under either exclusive or non-exclusive terms.
