Rear Projector and Multi-display System

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear projector and a multi-display system capable of precisely adjusting a screen. ; SOLUTION: The rear projector performs: detecting leakage light of white (W)light transmitting a transparent filter 12c with a first photosensor 18 by being synchronized with the transparent filter 12c of a color wheel 12; obtaining equivalent brightness information L2 as brightness information detected with a second photosensor 19 arranged just before a screen 4 from a correlation expression of an expression (1) by brightness information L1 based on the detection signal; collecting the brightness information L2 on the whole of the rear projectors 100-400 and setting the minimum value of brightness values therein as correction target values; generating a correction amount of the brightness value with each projector 100-400 to the correction target value; and adjusting brightness of the screen 4 of each rear projector 100-400 based on the correction amount. ; COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
