Early Detection of Lung Cancer Treatment
The present invention relates to a method for early detection of lung cancer. The method comprises obtaining samples from the body, especially respiratory tract material including sputum or bronchial fluid or any other pulmonary tissue or thoracic cells or regional lymph nodes, and assaying the samples with monoclonal antibodies for the presence of antigens whose enhanced presence correlates with the development of lung cancer.
